There is a strong link between nutrition and human health, and altering nutrient availability or overabundance through fasting/calorie-restricted diets or high-fat diets has profound effects on homeostasis, tissue regeneration, and cancer. Tissue stem cells respond to the physiological changes that occur during over- and undernutrition through dynamic shifts in their metabolism.

In this webinar, Valter Longo and David Sabatini will focus on recent developments underlying molecular responses to nutrient availability that promote tissue regeneration in the context of aging and disease.
