HAPS – Mobile Network Infrastructure for the Next Era

While 5G, IoT and other advanced communication technologies are being rolled out globally, roughly half of the world’s population still does not have access to the Internet. Recognizing the need to bridge this digital divide, mobile network operator SoftBank Corp. launched HAPSMobile Inc., a company dedicated to planning and operating a High Altitude Platform Station (HAPS) business.
